Hyzion Announces Closed Alpha, Closed Beta & Open Beta Testing Roadmap

Our journey into Hyzion begins! Closed Alpha and Closed Beta applications are now open to the community.

After months of dedicated development, worldbuilding, infrastructure improvements, and countless hours of work from our team, Hyzion Studios is excited to officially announce the upcoming testing phases for the Hyzion Survival/Demo Server!

This milestone marks an important step forward for our community. For the first time, we're preparing to welcome players into the world we've been building and give them an opportunity to contribute directly to its development.

Our roadmap consists of three major phases: Closed Alpha, Closed Beta, and Open Beta, with our public opening currently scheduled for February 10, 2027.

Closed Alpha — November 14–20, 2026

Status: Applications Open | Limited Availability

Closed Alpha will be our first external testing phase, allowing selected community members to experience Hyzion's Survival/Demo Server before its wider release.

Unlike traditional invitation-only Alpha tests, applications are open to everyone! However, official Hyzion partners, personally invited participants, and selected testers will receive priority consideration during the selection process.

During Closed Alpha, our development team will focus on:

• Evaluating server stability, connectivity, and overall performance.

• Testing our custom Mystic Systems and their integrations.

• Identifying critical bugs, exploits, and unexpected gameplay behavior.

• Reviewing multiplayer functionality and player interactions.

• Gathering early feedback on gameplay, accessibility, and usability.

• Identifying areas requiring improvements before Closed Beta.

As this is an early testing environment, participants should expect occasional downtime, unfinished features, bugs, and possible changes to the server.

Available testing positions will be limited to ensure our team can manage feedback and address issues effectively.

Closed Beta — December 1, 2026 to January 2, 2027

Status: Applications Open | Community Testing

Following Closed Alpha, we'll expand our testing program by inviting additional players into Hyzion.

Closed Beta represents our next major development milestone, shifting our focus toward refining the gameplay experience, testing systems under increased player activity, and preparing for public access.

During this phase, participants will have opportunities to:

• Explore and experience our Survival/Demo Server.

• Test gameplay progression and custom features.

• Evaluate economy, trading, and other supported systems.

• Participate in multiplayer activities.

• Report bugs and provide constructive feedback.

• Help identify balancing, performance, and quality-of-life improvements.

Players who participated in Closed Alpha may be considered for continued testing access, provided they remain in good standing and meet the requirements of the next phase.

Our goal is to use this period to address issues discovered during Alpha while continuing to build a stable and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Open Beta — February 10, 2027

Status: Scheduled | Public Access

February 10, 2027, is our planned Open Beta launch date!

On this day, we intend to open Hyzion's Survival/Demo Server to the public, allowing players to join without going through the Closed Alpha or Closed Beta application process.

February 10th is also a particularly meaningful date for our founder, as it happens to be his birthday. What better way to celebrate than opening the doors to a project our entire team has worked so hard to bring to life?

Open Beta will be free to join, with optional server ranks and other opportunities available for those interested in supporting Hyzion's continued development.

Although the server will be publicly accessible, Open Beta will remain an active development phase. Updates, improvements, bug fixes, and additional features will continue throughout this period.

Beyond Survival: The World of Avalon

While our initial testing phases focus on the Survival/Demo Server, Hyzion's long-term vision reaches much further.

At the heart of our project lies Avalon, the central setting of our upcoming story-driven MMORPG experience.

Avalon is being developed as a vast fantasy world filled with interconnected stories, unique characters, mysterious locations, ancient civilizations, and countless opportunities for adventure.

Our vision includes:

• An evolving storyline: A chapter-based narrative featuring meaningful choices, memorable characters, and an expansive history waiting to be uncovered.

• Custom character progression: Unique classes, abilities, specializations, and opportunities to shape your character's journey.

• Dynamic encounters: Custom NPCs, challenging enemies, bosses, and encounters designed around exploration and teamwork.

• Quest-driven exploration: A combination of main story chapters, optional side quests, hidden discoveries, and world events.

• Dungeons and raids: Challenging cooperative experiences featuring encounters, puzzles, mechanics, and rewarding progression.

• A connected community: Systems designed to encourage cooperation, guild activities, friendships, and shared adventures.

Avalon remains under active development and will have its own release milestones as its content and systems are completed.

Our February 10th Open Beta is for the Survival/Demo Server, not the full release of Avalon.

The Survival/Demo Server will serve as an important foundation for testing our technology, gathering feedback, and building our community while development of Avalon continues.

Supporting Hyzion Studios

We believe that being part of Hyzion's early development should not require a financial contribution.

For this reason, we have removed all application and participation fees for our Closed Alpha and Closed Beta testing phases.

Players who wish to support our development can do so through optional server rank purchases and our official merchandise store.

Your support helps us maintain server infrastructure, fund development, commission creative work, and continue improving the overall Hyzion experience.

However, making a purchase or donation is entirely optional and does not influence your eligibility or priority in our testing program.

Important Information About Testing

We want all applicants to understand that Alpha and Beta testing environments are not finished products.

During these phases, players may encounter:

• Unexpected bugs, crashes, and performance issues.

• Temporary server outages and maintenance.

• Features that are incomplete, unavailable, or subject to change.

• Gameplay balancing adjustments.

• Potential character progression or world data resets.

Participants will be expected to follow Hyzion's Community Guidelines, applicable testing policies, and any confidentiality requirements communicated for their testing phase.

Our announced dates represent our current development targets and may be adjusted if additional time is necessary to resolve critical issues or improve stability.

Any significant changes will be communicated through our official website and Discord server.

Welcome to the official home of Hyzion.

Whether you've been following our development for a while or you've only just discovered us, we're excited to finally begin opening the doors to what we've been building.

Hyzion is a community-driven Hytale RPG experience built around exploration, adventure, storytelling, progression, and a world designed to grow alongside its players. At the heart of that experience is Avalon — The First Kingdom, a world that will serve as the beginning of a much larger journey.

Our goal is not simply to create another server. We want Hyzion to feel like a living world—one filled with stories to uncover, characters to meet, places to explore, mysteries to solve, and adventures that continue to evolve over time.

We are also committed to creating an environment that is welcoming and family-friendly, with systems being built specifically to help keep our community safe while still allowing everyone to enjoy the world together.

Our Website Is Now Coming Together

If you're reading this, you're seeing one of the first major pieces of the Hyzion platform come online.

The website is still under active development, so you may notice certain pages, layouts, graphics, or features changing as we continue working on it.

However, the important part is already here:

The core systems behind the website are completed, connected, and operational.

We've now entered the polishing and design phase—improving the experience, refining pages, adding content, and bringing everything visually in line with the world and identity we're creating for Hyzion.

So while things may continue to move around for a little while, the foundation is officially in place.

Before Avalon Opens...

Creating Avalon and the full Hyzion RPG experience is an enormous undertaking, and we don't want our community to have to wait until every part of the main world is finished before they can actually play together.

That's why we're preparing the Hyzion Demo Server.

Despite the name, the Demo Server is a fully playable Survival experience built on the Hyzion network. It will allow players to experience some of our systems, meet the community, explore, build, and play together while development of Avalon continues.

A small group of selected players and testers is scheduled to receive access during November 2026. This period will help us test the server, infrastructure, integrations, and overall player experience before opening the doors to everyone.

Then, on February 10, 2027, the Hyzion Demo Server is scheduled to officially open to the public.

And yes—February 10 also happens to be my birthday, so it seemed like the perfect day to begin the next stage of Hyzion.

The Road to Avalon

The Demo Server is only the beginning.

Our primary focus remains the creation of Avalon and the story surrounding it.

Avalon will become the foundation for Hyzion's larger RPG experience, with quests, progression, characters, locations, discoveries, and an ongoing narrative divided into Chapters and Seasons.

Once Avalon and the initial story content are ready for release, our current plan is to begin the journey with:

Chapters 1–5

From there, the world will continue expanding as additional Chapters, systems, locations, and stories are completed.

We want the release of Avalon to feel like the beginning of an adventure rather than simply the launch of another game server.
